Derek Finch
Derek is an Actuarial Analyst and Regional Manager for the Tri-Cities office at Northwest Retirement Plan Consultants. His primary Actuarial Analyst responsibilities include working to assure that all of the client’s plan administration needs are provided for, including: the review of annual census/asset data, non-discrimination testing, contribution calculations, valuation, and Form 5500 work. In addition, he manages the staff and is the primary consultant for clients associated with the Tri-Cities office.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Washington, and is currently pursuing industry designations through the Society of Actuaries and the Joint Board for the Enrollment of Actuaries. His favorite thing about NWRPC is the great atmosphere, and how the staff always strive to do what is best for their clients.
Derek spends his leisure time trap shooting, playing board games, wine tasting in Walla Walla, and attending local live music events.
